Christmas in Pearland

 

 

 
We have been decorating our yard for Christmas since 2001. We started with homemade yard art and the basic icicle lights on the eves. Every year we added a little more, but still tried to make it all by hand. In 2004 we moved into our new home with quite a bit more yard. So the decorations had to be doubled. In 2006 I ventured into the animated lighting frenzy after seeing this video. In 2007 we had our first fully animated 'Lights to Music', with 128 channels controlling 18,000 lights, two snowmen throwing snowballs, penguins skating around an animated Christmas three, homemade 4' 3D elves and a homemade 6' snowman made of fiberglass.

This year we will have 54,742 individual channels controlling LEDs, RGBs (these are individually controllable led lights (red, blue and green) and incandescent lights; all synchronized to music by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Mariah Carey and others. Come see the 22' Ferris Wheel and a 26' Mega Tree with red, green and blue LEDs. COME SEE and HEAR IT!
